About Me

DSC_7957Thank you for visiting my page to learn a bit about me.

My husband and I have been married for 24 years–and we have two beautiful grown children. We enjoy traveling, being outside and binge watching Netflix (just being honest)–and playing with our sweet pup, Lambeau.

How did Yoga come into my life?

About 12 years ago, I started to practice yoga–3-4 times a week. My kids were in school, I worked part time–and I had the time to devote to my practice.  I loved my practice I loved my instructor..Life was good.

Then life changed–I increase my work hours (agh) and joined the choir at my church–which happened to practice on the same night as Yoga.  One thing led to another–I became “BUSY” I was too busy for Yoga.  Looking back, I realize my priorities were completely out of whack.

Almost 4 years ago I slipped and fell on the ice–I went to a chiropractor for some healing.  This chiropractor happened to be in the SAME LOCATION as the yoga studio I practiced at all those years ago.  And GUESS WHAT?  The same instructor was there.

I started to practice again–and it was like riding a bike..sorta.  My mind remembered the poses, but my body was like ‘WHAT THE HECK”.  Slow and steady–starting to master poses. Then starting to realize it isn’t about the poses–I became more present and more mindful in my day to day life…

And then Yoga Nidras, and Teacher Training

Through lots of prayer, meditation and preparation, my husband and I  made the decision that I would leave my corporate job in finance–after 23 years–to pursue teaching Yoga.

And OH, how the Universe/God provides!

I left my job on 8/16/19 and have been busier than I could have ever imagined.

I work with all ages–and all levels. I enjoy creating simple and fun sequences–24/7.  I keep a note book with me at all times and so I can write ideas/themes etc as they come to me.

Note:  ANYONE can do yoga.

Yoga is so much more than those “crazy poses that make you sweat and feel uncomfortable”.

Yoga is connecting with yourself on a physical, mental and spiritual level.

Yoga is breathing. Yoga is meditating. Yoga is therapy. Yoga meets us where we are.

My classes are available to all levels of yoga practice in studio settings, schools and private lessons.

Come to my classes and share your practice with me.  Just imagine what we can learn from each other!
